Facebook anyone?

Megan has given me permission to have one now. Isn't that nice of her? :-D At this point, I think I'm the only person on the face of the planet that doesn't have one, am I right? LOL So, my scrappy friends, can I continue living without one? You tell me... whats great about it? Why do I "need" one? Enlighten me! :-D

  1. Frankly, i think it's something you can live without. Thing is, I love how it allows me to touch base with some friends/people.

Until my account got hacked a couple of months ago, I was on it every single day. Got so hooked on games. LOL! Total waste of time, I know. These days though, I only log on when I want to get an update on some of the sites I follow or whenever I feel the need to be connected somehow.

Sign up. Don't log on when you don't feel the need to. What have you got to lose? :D

In the meantime, Twitter anyone? Heh! When I don't blog, I tweet something; especially when I don't have much to say or when I'm too lazy to compose something. Gotta love micro-blogging.

  2. I like it. Its a fun way to keep up with others. Its really not a MUST do thig with me though. I have to admit an addiction to the games though.

  6. I do Twitter for work, and FB for personal. Come on over. I'm not searchable so you'll have to invite me through email.

  7. I have to echo what a few of the others have already said - if you can avoid getting a FB account then you really aren't missing anything.

I got sucked in and now I feel compelled to share everything, even when I don't have anything to share. Its worse then blogging!

If you DO get one, make sure you add me though - LOL

  8. It's really a great way to stay connected, make old connections come alive and just catch up! It's very addicting too! I reconnected with all my highschool buddies!

  10. I have heard so many terrible things about Facebook security or lack thereof that I'll pass. Our police dept said MySpace is safer for kids and I about fell off my seat!
