The new
Creative Cookbooking challenge is up! Super Bowl 2010 is tomorrow! Gridiron gourmets, grab your cameras and get some pics of the food and fun! Your challenge this week is to scrap your tailgating party, whether it's at the stadium or at your home.
We don't go to games, but we certainly watch our fair share of football on the big screen TV! And for the big games, we eat in a big way! Here is a layout of some grilled goodies from our last football game!

I hope you'll join in the fun! And don't forget, the
Design Team call ends on Feb. 15th, so there's still plenty of time to submit for a spot on this awesome team. :-)
Here are a couple of layouts for the last two challenges on
Scrapperie. This one required doodling. Doodling is a little outside my comfort zone, but somehow seemed perfect for the subject of my layout. Since this photo, I've journaled on the envelope about my feelings of reconnecting with my birth sister. Inside the envelope is the first letter she sent me and my reply to her. This goes into my Book of Me.

This weeks challenge on
Scrapperie is typography. I'll admit, I had to look typography up. "Typography is the art and technique of arranging type, type design, and modifying type glyphs. Type glyphs are created and modified using a variety of illustration techniques." So I chose to make a "tree" out of the word Christmas and then stitched "brunch" under it to demonstrate variety. LOL I made the purple poinsettia using a tutorial from Liz on
Scrap for a Cure.

And just for fun, I had this photo from last summer. It's silly, but that's how I roll. LOL This layout goes into my Book of We, which has been sorely neglected as of late.

And last, but not least, I made this layout using the last little bit of the Treasured Family Recipes kit from
Creative Cuts and More that was sent to me for the blog hop a couple of months ago. I'm tellin' ya, that kit was jam packed! Love, love, LOVE Cosmo Cricket!

Well, I actually do have more layouts to share, but those layouts are ones that I can't share just yet.
No matter who you're rooting for in the Super Bowl, just remember...
WHO DAT!!! LOL
