Long story short, I busted it to get as much done as I could in her recipe album, so that I could surprise her by mailing it with her math book. It's only short 2 pages, but I figure I can get those done by next weekend, when my presence has been requested to see her new house.
Needless to say, they were really simple pages, but I was determined to use some stash that has been sitting around. Much of it was RAK items from YEARS ago, so if any of you are reading, THANK YOU AGAIN!!! The blank space you see on each page is room for photos if she wants them. I have to say, I have not enjoyed working on a 9 x 9 space. I thought this size would be perfect for a recipe album, but I think 8 1/2 x 11 would have been better. Oh, well, it's all but done. :-)
I believe this is Stampin Up paper from my scrappy friend Ginger.

No, Megan is not old enough to drink. She requested both of these recipes specifically. :-X

I used my new Threading Water punch again, and some REALLY OLD CM stickers from back in my consultant days.

This was some paper from Kristin and the turn and brad is from Jayne.

And last but not least, thanks to Colleen for the cool embossed paper.

Im so glad you posted this. The 16 yr old boy keeps talking about my recipes that he needs and I keep thinking about a recipe book.. but I havent done a thing about it.
ReplyDeleteThis has inspired me to at least figure out what I want to do so I can get busy one of these days!
miss you-
WTG Suzanne, sure miss seeing you around.
ReplyDeleteWTG using up your stash, Suzanne!
ReplyDeleteLovely additions to your awesome book Suzanne! And I agree about the 9x9. The 8 1/2 x 11 and the 6x6 are MUCH easier! Megan's gonna TREASURE it!
