How about some sketch fun?

Okay! I mean, who doesn't like sketches?! My friends Mary and Joni have an awesome site called Scraproom Blueprints and they've been kind enough to allow me to drag them into my scheme. LOL

Here's a sample of one of Joni's sketches that I used yesterday...

I used the brand new Fancy Pants Kraft Cuts and wow! This page, using the sketch and the cut outs took all of about 15 minutes to make. YAY for fun and easy pages!

OH, so on with the fun, right? There are two ways to win a RAK:

1. Go to Scraproom Blueprints and choose any sketch. Complete your layout using that sketch by midnight 2-28-09. (You may combine this for your Book of Me challenge, if you haven't already completed it.) Send me the link to your layout along with the sketch number you used, OR you can email it to me at Mi4Angels@aol.com. Just be sure to put "layout challenge" in the subject line to ensure that I don't delete it! :-O

Bad blogger!

I get the bad blogger award for sure! Thanks to those of you who wrote asking if everything was okay with me. :-) I'm fine, things have been a little nuts, but I HAVE been scrappy! Remember that cute Twiddleybitz gate I showed you? Well, hubby says, "no, that's not right" so I used that one for this project. I wanted to wait to show you until it was in the shadowbox, but Hobby Lobby didn't have them 50% off last week. But y'all are smart enough to see it in a white shadowbox, right? :-)



I'll have another project to show you soon, I just need some finishing touches. ;-)

Do you see the trend here? NO PHOTOS??? Unless I want to go back to 1992, which I don't, I'm totally and entirely caught up with my photos, thus the "projects." This is good, and bad. Good, because I'm able to focus more on my pet projects, such as my book of me. And bad because, well, I have no photos to scrap! I have this brand new Nikon D80, and no pics of interest to take. :-/ C'mon spring! I love taking photos of my blooming things!

My BOM layout

I have been remiss in posting some of my creations, but I will try to rectify that this weekend. For now, here is my BOM layout using October Afternoon and Jenni Bowlin. :-)



I also got these awesome gates from Twiddleybitz! I've altered this one for a shadowbox project that I'm making, so you'll see this again soon in it's completed form. But isn't it cool how the gate actually opens? :-)
